Parks Canada is delighted to have the opportunity to bring the Arts into our site at the Peterborough Lift Lock on the Trent-Severn Waterway. The Trent-Severn Waterway is a meandering ribbon of exploration between Georgian Bay and Lake Ontario. Along the way visitors arrive at the Lift Lock in Peterborough - the highest hydraulic lift lock in the world and by virtue of it's engineering design in it's own right - a work of art. Parks Canada values the important contribution of the Arts in our community and looks forward to an ongoing association with the Art Gallery of Peterborough.
